Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for an experienced Early Years Nursery Manager to lead a welcoming, not-for-profit nursery in Martin, Lincolnshire.
This is an opportunity to take real ownership of a setting that is deeply connected to its local community. The nursery provides year-round early years provision alongside wraparound childcare, supporting children from six months through to 11 years.
You'll lead a small team, maintain high standards across the setting and work closely with families, staff and the wider community. There is also plenty of scope to bring your own ideas, strengthen practice and influence how the nursery continues to develop.
What you'll be doing:
Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the nursery Leading, supporting and motivating the early years team Maintaining high standards of care, education and safeguarding Ensuring the setting operates in line with the EYFS and Ofsted requirements Supporting staff development through guidance, supervision and professional feedback Overseeing planning, observations and the quality of children's learning experiences Building strong and trusting relationships with parents and carers Working collaboratively with the local school and wider community Maintaining appropriate staffing levels and supporting effective deployment Overseeing policies, procedures, records and regulatory requirements Promoting an inclusive environment where every child is recognised as an individual Identifying opportunities to improve practice and strengthen the nursery provision Creating a positive culture where staff feel able to contribute ideas and take pride in their work
What we're looking for:
A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification as a minimum At least two years of leadership experience within an early years setting Strong working knowledge of the EYFS A thorough understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements Previous experience supporting or managing an early years team Confidence communicating with parents, staff and external professionals Strong organisational and leadership skills The ability to balance operational responsibilities with maintaining excellent experiences for children A collaborative leadership style suited to a smaller nursery environment

This role could be particularly attractive if you've worked as a Deputy Nursery Manager, Assistant Manager or experienced Room Leader and already have meaningful leadership experience, or if you're an established Nursery Manager looking for a smaller setting where you can have more direct influence.
