Your gym membership is covered.
That's not the main reason to choose a nursery job.
But when it's a free David Lloyd membership, on top of your salary, paid birthday off and Christmas closure, it's definitely worth mentioning.
Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for an experienced Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner in Bristol to join a newer nursery that opened in September 2025 and is already expanding its team because of growing child numbers.
This is a particularly good opportunity if you like the idea of joining somewhere established enough to have strong leadership and a clear ethos, but new enough that your ideas can still influence how the nursery develops.
Not another nursery buried in a residential estate
The purpose-built setting is based alongside a major leisure centre near Long Ashton Park & Ride, making it straightforward for both drivers and bus users.
Staff receive:
Free on-site parking Free David Lloyd gym membership 5.6 weeks' paid holiday An additional paid day off for your birthday One-week Christmas closure Strong leadership and support
That's a refreshingly practical employment package.
Level 2 or Level 3
You don't need to be Level 3 to apply.
The employer is specifically looking for practitioners qualified at Level 2 or above, ideally with previous experience working with babies or young children.
You'll need to be confident with the EYFS and genuinely comfortable with a more child-led, respectful and home-from-home approach to early years care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Creating a safe, warm and stimulating environment Planning and delivering high-quality early years experiences Observing children's learning and development Completing assessments and developmental records Working closely with parents and carers Building positive relationships with your key children Working with external professionals where required Supporting inclusion Maintaining excellent safeguarding standards Contributing ideas as the nursery continues to grow Working positively alongside the wider nursery team This is somewhere still growing
And that's probably the most interesting bit.
The nursery only expanded into this setting in September 2025.
Rather than joining a nursery where every routine has been done the same way for ten years, the employer is actively looking for practitioners who can bring creativity, enthusiasm and ideas into the developing provision.
For the right practitioner, that's a nice position to be in.
You're not walking into chaos and being asked to build everything yourself.
But you're also not being told that something can't change because "we've always done it like that".
The ethos is deliberately simple
Learning through play.
The setting describes its approach as calm, caring and inspiring, with a strong emphasis on:
Child-led learning Respectful relationships Home-from-home care Strong relationships with families Creativity Children's wellbeing High safeguarding standards
If that sounds closer to how you think early years should work, this is worth exploring.
