Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join an established early years setting in the Boothstown and Worsley area of Greater Manchester.
This permanent, full-time position would suit a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified practitioner who enjoys being hands-on with children, contributing ideas and creating an environment where play, exploration and strong relationships shape the nursery day.
You'll work as part of a close-knit team supporting children through the crucial early stages of their development, while having access to ongoing training and opportunities to progress your own career.
What you'll be doing:
Providing a high standard of care, learning and support throughout the nursery day Creating activities and experiences around children's interests and individual development Supporting children's communication, confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing Carrying out observations and contributing towards children's next steps Taking responsibility for a group of key children Building positive relationships with parents and carers Helping to maintain stimulating, welcoming indoor and outdoor environments Working alongside colleagues to maintain consistent routines and high standards Following the EYFS and supporting children's learning through purposeful play Maintaining excellent safeguarding, health and safety and welfare standards
What we're looking for:
A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Experience working with children within an early years environment A sound understanding of the EYFS Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities within a nursery setting Someone warm, dependable and confident communicating with families A practitioner who enjoys contributing ideas rather than simply following the daily routine A genuine interest in continuing to learn and develop within early years
