Tiny Tots Recruitment is recruiting a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for an established day nursery in Adel, Leeds.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity within a bright and spacious early years setting that combines well-equipped indoor rooms with secure gardens, mud kitchens and a woodland area for children to explore.
The nursery has a strong focus on creating meaningful learning experiences around individual children, while building close partnerships with parents and carers.
Whether you are Level 2 qualified and building your early years experience or already hold a Level 3 qualification, you will be joining an organisation with a clear focus on training, career development and recognising the contribution practitioners make every day.
What you'll be doing:
Providing high-quality care and early education for children throughout the nursery Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS Planning stimulating activities around children's interests and individual needs Taking responsibility for key children and building secure relationships Completing observations and contributing to children's next steps Encouraging confidence, communication and independence Making full use of indoor and outdoor learning environments Building strong partnerships with parents and carers Supporting children's daily routines and emotional wellbeing Creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment Working collaboratively with practitioners and senior colleagues Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety Continuing to develop your own knowledge through training and professional development
What we're looking for:
A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting Good knowledge of the EYFS Strong safeguarding awareness A caring and child-focused approach Confidence building relationships with children and families Good communication and teamwork skills Someone reliable, enthusiastic and keen to keep learning A genuine interest in building a long-term career within early years
