Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join an established early years setting in Egham, Surrey.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity within a nursery group that has been caring for children since 1998. The setting aims to create an extension of home, giving children a secure and nurturing environment while encouraging their individuality, creativity and natural curiosity.
Play sits at the centre of the nursery's approach. Practitioners use sensory experiences, creative activities, imaginative play, nature and everyday discoveries to help children develop socially, emotionally, physically and academically.
What you'll be doing: Providing high-quality care and early education for young children Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS Acting as a Key Person and building secure relationships with individual children Planning stimulating experiences around children's interests and stages of development Completing observations and recognising appropriate next steps Encouraging children to make choices and become increasingly independent Supporting speech, language and social development through meaningful interaction Creating opportunities for sensory, creative and imaginative play Making use of outdoor experiences, including opportunities to explore nature Building positive relationships with parents and carers Supporting children's individual routines and emotional wellbeing Working collaboratively with practitioners and senior colleagues Maintaining excellent safeguarding, health and safety and welfare standards Contributing ideas to the continued development of the nursery What we're looking for: A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting A good practical understanding of the EYFS Knowledge of child development Strong safeguarding awareness A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach Good communication skills with children, families and colleagues Someone reliable who works positively as part of a team A genuine interest in continuing to develop within early years What's on offer: £26,000 to £28,000 per year depending on qualification and experience Permanent, full-time employment Company pension scheme Staff incentives Staff referral scheme Staff uniform Regular supervision and support Continued training and professional development Online training External courses and face-to-face development Hands-on training within the nursery Career progression opportunities across multiple nursery settings Optional staff get-togethers Management open-door policy Strong focus on work-life balance On-site parking
