Not every full-time nursery job has to feel like five long days back to back.
Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly independent nursery near Hedge End, Southampton.

Learning through play and continuous provision are central to the setting's approach, with children given regular opportunities to explore, experiment and follow their interests.

Newly qualified practitioners are also encouraged to apply. The nursery specifically offers support to help newly qualified staff settle into the role and develop confidence in its ways of working.
What's on offer: £25,500 to £27,726 per year Permanent, full-time employment Average 37.5-hour working week Monday to Friday working Rolling shift system with a shorter day every other day £500 starting bonus, pro rata and subject to terms 29 days annual leave including bank holidays 75% discount on nursery fees for staff Sick pay Confidential Employee Assistance helpline Learning and development opportunities Career progression support Free on-site parking Company events and team social activities Comfortable staff room with Wi-Fi Complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks, fruit and biscuits
The working pattern is a real benefit here. The nursery operates between 8am and 6pm, with an earlier breakfast club, and uses a rolling shift system that allows practitioners to have a shorter working day every other day.
There is also a strong focus on keeping practice current. The nursery's own early years information confirms practitioners attend regular training and staff meetings, with observations and children's individual interests used to shape future learning opportunities.
