Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a growing early years setting in Elstead, Surrey, close to Godalming.
This is a permanent, full-time position for a qualified practitioner who enjoys creating environments where children can investigate, experiment and discover things for themselves.
The nursery puts a strong emphasis on developing confident young learners through a mixture of structured early years experiences and opportunities for exploration. Children take part in everything from stories, music and creative play to cooking, gardening, nature walks, problem solving and physical activities.
What you'll be doing: Providing consistently high-quality care and early education Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities Creating opportunities that encourage curiosity, imagination and independence Taking responsibility for a group of key children Observing children's development and identifying meaningful next steps Creating safe, stimulating and well-organised learning environments Building positive and supportive relationships with parents and carers Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and individual routines Working collaboratively with colleagues across the nursery Ensuring children's individual needs are understood and supported Maintaining excellent safeguarding, health and safety and welfare standards Contributing creative ideas to activities and the wider nursery environment Continuing to develop your own skills through training and reflective practice What we're looking for: A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Previous experience working with young children A good working knowledge of the EYFS Strong safeguarding awareness A warm, patient and caring approach Creativity and enthusiasm when planning children's experiences Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Someone organised, responsible and comfortable working as part of a team A genuine interest in child development A willingness to continue learning and developing professionally What's on offer: £27,000 to £30,000 per year Permanent, full-time employment 40-hour working week 22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays Paid day off for your birthday Pension contributions matched up to 7.5% of base salary Personal wellbeing fund £150 attendance bonus where qualifying criteria are met Free breakfast, coffee and afternoon snacks Access to more than 600 retail and lifestyle discounts Annual paid flu vaccination Fully funded job-related training DBS check funded by the employer Funded Paediatric First Aid Funded safeguarding training Funded Food Hygiene certification Funded Health and Safety training
