Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a purpose-built early years setting in Godalming, Surrey.
Opened in 2024, the nursery has been designed specifically around young children and aims to create a genuine home-from-home environment. The team follows a child-centred approach where children's interests help shape activities and learning opportunities throughout the day.
The setting also works above minimum staffing ratios where possible, giving practitioners more opportunity to interact meaningfully with children rather than simply managing numbers.
What you'll be doing: Providing high-quality care and early education for children Supporting children's development in line with the EYFS Using children's interests to create meaningful learning experiences Taking responsibility for a group of key children Completing observations and planning appropriate next steps Supporting both adult-led and child-initiated play Encouraging children's confidence, resilience and independence Creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive nursery environment Spending time outdoors and making outdoor learning part of the nursery day Building strong partnerships with parents and carers Supporting children with individual and additional needs Working collaboratively with Room Leaders and fellow practitioners Contributing ideas to planning and the continued development of the nursery Maintaining excellent safeguarding, welfare and health and safety standards What we're looking for: A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting A sound understanding of the EYFS Good knowledge of child development Confidence carrying out observations and planning for key children Strong safeguarding awareness A fun, enthusiastic and approachable personality Someone happy to get outdoors in all seasons Good communication and teamwork skills A genuine commitment to inclusive early years practice What's on offer: Approximately £26,676 to £32,604 per year Permanent, full-time employment 38 hours per week £1,500 bonus available following successful probation 28 days holiday with the opportunity to earn 2 additional paid days Paid half-day off for your birthday Discounted childcare Contributory company pension Annual pay review Ongoing internal and external training Unlimited access to accredited online CPD courses Qualification reward payments Health and wellbeing programme Employee wellbeing app and counselling support £750 employee referral incentive Free flu vaccination Free staff parking Two company events each year Genuine opportunities for career progression
