Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join an independent early years setting in Worthing, West Sussex.
The nursery has a smaller, personal feel and cares for children from babies through to preschool. Its rooms are designed around the different stages of early development, creating secure and stimulating environments where children can explore, play and gradually build their confidence and independence.
The setting also takes a particularly flexible approach to childcare for local families, including those working shift patterns, and incorporates additional experiences such as yoga and physical activities into children's nursery life.
What you'll be doing: Providing high-quality care and early education for children aged 0 to 5 Supporting children's development in line with the EYFS Acting as a Key Person and developing secure relationships with individual children Creating engaging activities across all areas of learning and development Observing children's progress and maintaining accurate developmental records Using children's interests to help shape future learning opportunities Supporting children's emotional wellbeing, confidence and independence Creating a safe, organised and stimulating nursery environment Building positive relationships with parents and carers Working collaboratively with practitioners across the nursery Supporting children through everyday routines and transitions Promoting inclusive practice and responding to individual needs Maintaining strong safeguarding, health and safety and welfare standards Participating in staff meetings and professional training Bringing your own ideas and enthusiasm into the nursery day What we're looking for: A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Previous experience working within a nursery or childcare environment Good practical knowledge of the EYFS Strong safeguarding awareness A genuine passion for children's learning and development Confidence communicating with parents, children and colleagues Someone positive, reliable and comfortable using their initiative A practitioner who enjoys working as part of a smaller nursery team A willingness to continue learning and developing professionally What's on offer: £27,040 to £29,000 per year Permanent, full-time employment Company pension Childcare benefit Discounted or free food Free on-site parking Health and wellbeing programme Employee referral programme Ongoing training and professional development Monday to Friday nursery environment Small independent setting Opportunities to work across different early years age groups
