Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly, family-run early years setting in Caterham, Surrey.
Located within a park, the nursery has its own garden alongside access to woodland and wider outdoor play spaces. Indoors, children benefit from bright, spacious rooms designed around the way young children naturally play, investigate and learn.

What you'll be doing: Providing high-quality physical, emotional, social and educational care Acting as a Key Person and developing secure relationships with individual children Planning activities around children's interests, needs and stages of development Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS Observing children's progress and maintaining individual learning records Creating opportunities for sensory, creative and imaginative play Encouraging children's confidence, independence and communication Making regular use of the nursery garden, park and woodland environment Building strong partnerships with parents and carers Sharing children's development and achievements with families Supporting children's individual care routines Helping maintain a clean, safe and stimulating nursery environment Working collaboratively with colleagues throughout the setting Maintaining excellent safeguarding, health and safety and welfare standards Taking part in training, staff meetings and professional development What we're looking for: A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Previous experience within a nursery or similar childcare setting Good practical knowledge of the EYFS Strong safeguarding awareness A warm, dependable and enthusiastic approach Confidence communicating with children, parents and colleagues Someone creative who enjoys bringing ideas into the nursery day A practitioner who can use their initiative and work positively as part of a team A genuine passion for helping young children learn and develop What's on offer: £29,848 to £32,760 per year Permanent, full-time employment Ongoing professional training Career development opportunities Generous holiday allowance Staff reward scheme Team socials and celebrations throughout the year Free Enhanced DBS check Free uniform Free on-site parking Family-run nursery environment Garden, park and woodland access Small and supportive staff team
