Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join an established nursery in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for someone who understands that great early years practice is about much more than completing observations and following routines.
You'll be encouraged to create experiences around children's interests, build strong relationships with your key children and give them the confidence to explore, experiment and become increasingly independent.
The nursery is part of an established family-run early years group that invests heavily in staff development, with opportunities to gain further qualifications and progress into specialist or leadership roles.
What you'll be doing:
Providing warm, responsive and high-quality care throughout the nursery day Creating interesting activities and learning opportunities based on children's interests Supporting children's development in line with the EYFS Taking responsibility for a group of key children Completing observations and identifying meaningful next steps Encouraging children's communication, independence and confidence Creating inviting spaces that encourage children to explore and investigate Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and individual needs Developing positive partnerships with parents and carers Working collaboratively with colleagues across the nursery Promoting equality, inclusion and respect Maintaining excellent safeguarding and welfare standards Bringing your own ideas and personality into the nursery environment
What we're looking for:
A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting Good working knowledge of the EYFS Strong safeguarding awareness A genuine interest in children's learning and development Someone creative, enthusiastic and comfortable getting involved Good communication skills with children, families and colleagues A reliable and professional approach Someone who wants to continue developing their early years career
