What you'll be doing: Providing high-quality care and early education for children from babies through to preschool Acting as a Key Person and building strong relationships with individual children Supporting learning and development in line with the EYFS Observing children's play, interests and developmental progress Planning child-centred experiences and adult-led activities Creating engaging opportunities for indoor and outdoor learning Encouraging children to investigate, experiment and make their own choices Supporting children's confidence, communication and independence Helping children develop positive friendships and social skills Working closely with families and sharing children's progress Supporting individual care routines and transitions between rooms Maintaining a safe, organised and stimulating environment Working collaboratively with the wider nursery team Maintaining excellent safeguarding and welfare standards Reflecting on your own practice and continuing to develop professionally What we're looking for: A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Previous nursery or early years experience Good practical knowledge of the EYFS Strong safeguarding awareness A caring and patient approach Someone creative who enjoys getting involved in children's play Confidence building relationships with parents and carers Strong teamwork and communication skills Someone who values outdoor learning and child-led exploration A practitioner keen to continue developing their skills and knowledge What's on offer: £28,000 to £30,000 per year Permanent, full-time employment Monday to Friday working Monthly team training Ongoing professional development Opportunities to progress through further early years qualifications Career development available from Level 3 through to Level 5 Small, friendly nursery environment Large rural garden Extensive outdoor learning opportunities Bright rooms tailored to different age groups On-site car park Support from an established wider nursery organisation
