Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to become part of a brand-new early years setting opening in Marylebone, Central London in September 2026.
For the right practitioner, there is something exciting about joining at the beginning. You'll be helping create routines, build relationships with the first families and establish the atmosphere children experience when they walk through the door.
The nursery combines Montessori principles, Forest School experiences and the EYFS, with children encouraged to become confident and independent through practical experiences, exploration and meaningful play.
What you'll be doing: Providing high-quality care and early education for children aged three months to five years Acting as a Key Person and developing secure relationships with individual children Supporting children's development across the EYFS Observing children's interests, progress and individual needs Using observations to create meaningful next steps and learning opportunities Encouraging children to make choices and develop their independence Creating hands-on and sensory-rich learning experiences Supporting Montessori-inspired practical activities Getting involved in outdoor, Forest School and nature-based learning Encouraging children's confidence, resilience and problem-solving skills Supporting babies and younger children with individual care routines Building positive relationships with parents and carers Sharing children's progress and experiences with families Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and child protection Working closely with the wider nursery team as the new setting develops Taking an active role in training and continuous professional development What we're looking for: A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Previous experience working within an early years setting Good practical knowledge of the EYFS Strong safeguarding awareness A warm and child-centred approach Confidence working closely with parents and families Someone creative who enjoys following children's interests A practitioner happy to get involved in outdoor learning in all seasons Strong teamwork and communication skills An interest in Montessori or Forest School practice would be an advantage Someone excited by the opportunity to join a nursery while it is still developing its identity What's on offer: £30,000 to £32,000 per year Permanent, full-time employment Monday to Friday working Brand-new nursery opening September 2026 Opportunity to join the team from launch Continuous professional development Training across EYFS practice Montessori-inspired learning Forest School and outdoor education Nature-based early years environment Child-led approach to learning Opportunity to help shape the culture of a new nursery Central Marylebone location
This is not a setting where outdoor learning means going into the garden for half an hour when the weather is nice.
Nature is deliberately built into the nursery's curriculum. Children are given regular opportunities for outdoor exploration, gardening and practical experiences, alongside Montessori activities designed to build concentration, coordination and independence.
The nursery also states that its practitioners are qualified early years educators with training across the EYFS, Montessori and Forest School practice, and that it invests in continuous professional development.
