Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and established nursery in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
The setting follows an In The Moment Planning approach, which means practitioners are encouraged to notice what children are interested in there and then, and use those moments to extend their learning through play.
It suits someone who enjoys being creative, getting involved and responding to the children in front of them rather than simply working through a fixed list of activities.

What you'll be doing:
Providing high-quality care and early education for children Supporting children's development in line with the EYFS Using children's interests to create meaningful learning opportunities Taking responsibility for a group of key children Completing observations and recognising appropriate next steps Encouraging communication, confidence, independence and imagination Creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments Building positive relationships with parents and carers Supporting children's individual routines and emotional wellbeing Promoting inclusive practice and recognising every child as an individual Working collaboratively with colleagues across the nursery Maintaining excellent safeguarding, welfare and health and safety standards Contributing ideas to activities, environments and the wider nursery Taking part in training and ongoing professional development
What we're looking for:
A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Previous nursery or early years experience A good practical understanding of the EYFS Strong safeguarding awareness A warm and enthusiastic approach to working with children Confidence communicating with parents and colleagues Someone observant enough to recognise learning opportunities as they happen Reliability and good teamwork skills A practitioner who genuinely enjoys learning through play Someone keen to continue developing professionally
