Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Liphook, South East full time Permanent

£28,000 to £29,500 per year

A Level 3 Nursery Practitioner job in Liphook offering £28,000 to £29,500 per year within a truly impressive early years environment. Enjoy 175 acres of grounds, Forest School learning, specialist activities, free meals, pension and ongoing professional development within an independent nursery and school community.

Imagine having 175 acres to turn into a classroom.

Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join an exceptional early years setting in Liphook, Hampshire.

Set within the South Downs National Park, this is a nursery where outdoor learning is not squeezed into a small garden for half an hour each afternoon. Children have access to extensive grounds, woodland and dedicated Forest School provision, with practitioners encouraged to make exploration and discovery a genuine part of everyday learning.

The nursery forms part of an independent Nursery, Pre-Prep and Prep School for children aged 2 to 13, providing practitioners with a distinctive early years environment and access to resources that are rarely found within a traditional day nursery.

What you'll be doing:

Providing outstanding care and early education for nursery-aged children Supporting children's development in line with the EYFS Following children's interests and recognising learning opportunities as they naturally arise Acting as a play partner rather than directing every activity Supporting a group of key children and monitoring their individual progress Creating imaginative, open-ended learning experiences Making regular use of outdoor spaces and Forest School opportunities Encouraging children to become independent, curious and confident learners Building warm and professional relationships with parents and carers Supporting children's communication, physical development and emotional wellbeing Working collaboratively with other Nursery Practitioners and specialist staff Creating inclusive experiences that recognise each child as an individual Maintaining excellent safeguarding and welfare standards Reflecting on your own practice and keeping your early years knowledge current

What we're looking for:

A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Previous experience working within an early years environment Strong practical understanding of the EYFS Excellent safeguarding awareness A genuine interest in child-initiated learning Someone enthusiastic about outdoor education and Forest School A nurturing and responsive approach to young children Strong communication and teamwork skills Someone reflective and interested in current early years research A practitioner who wants to contribute ideas and become part of the wider setting

What's on offer:

£28,000 to £29,500 per year Permanent, full-time employment Company pension Company sick pay Life insurance Free on-site parking Free meals during term time Ongoing professional development Supportive and collaborative working environment Access to exceptional outdoor learning facilities Dedicated Forest School provision Opportunity to work alongside specialist teaching staff A beautiful 175-acre working environment within the South Downs National Park

The early years experience here is genuinely unusual.

Children benefit from predominantly child-led learning alongside Forest School, with specialist teaching also available in areas including swimming, PE, gymnastics, music and Spanish. Each nursery room has direct access to outdoor provision, while the wider grounds provide woodland and dedicated Forest School areas just a short walk from the classrooms.

The setting also deliberately operates with strong staff-to-child ratios so practitioners have the opportunity to engage properly with children's play, recognise learning as it happens and respond meaningfully rather than simply supervising activities.

If you're looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner job in Liphook, an Early Years Practitioner job in Hampshire or nursery work near Haslemere and Hindhead, this is an opportunity that offers something genuinely different from a standard day nursery.
