Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a small, community-focused early years setting in Martin, Lincolnshire on a permanent part-time basis.
This is the kind of nursery where practitioners can bring their personality and ideas into the room. The setting has a strong learning-through-play ethos and prides itself on recognising every child as an individual, creating an environment where children can explore, develop and build confidence at their own pace.
The nursery provides childcare throughout the year and supports children from baby age through to school age, creating a varied environment where no two days are quite the same.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting children's learning and development through purposeful play Planning enjoyable activities around children's interests and developmental stages Providing a warm, safe and nurturing environment Taking responsibility for key children and building an understanding of their individual needs Completing observations and contributing towards children's next steps Encouraging children's communication, confidence and independence Supporting daily routines including meals, sleep, personal care and transitions Building strong relationships with parents and carers Creating inviting play and learning spaces Working closely with colleagues as part of a small nursery team Supporting children with different needs and ensuring inclusive practice Maintaining excellent safeguarding, welfare and health and safety standards
What we're looking for:
A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool or early years setting A good practical understanding of the EYFS A genuine enjoyment of working directly with young children Someone warm, patient and dependable Good communication skills Confidence working as part of a close-knit team An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities Someone comfortable contributing their own ideas and creativity to the nursery day
