The employer places real emphasis on developing people internally. Staff have access to online learning, external courses and practical training, with Room Leaders also playing an important part in mentoring less experienced practitioners.
The nursery's Key Person approach means practitioners build close relationships with individual children and families, with observations and progress shared through the FAMLY system. Children's own interests are used to inform planning, giving the Room Leader plenty of scope to develop genuinely responsive early years practice.
