What you'll be doing
You'll become an important part of the nursery team, helping children feel secure, confident and excited to learn.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Providing consistently high-quality care Supporting children's learning and development through the EYFS Building strong relationships with your key children Planning activities around children's interests Completing observations and development records Creating engaging play and learning opportunities Encouraging children's independence and confidence Supporting outdoor learning and physical development Communicating regularly with parents and carers Working positively with colleagues across the nursery Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and welfare Helping create a calm, welcoming and stimulating environment A slightly different approach to learning
The nursery combines child-led exploration with more structured activities.
Its curriculum draws inspiration from Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Hygge approaches, with an emphasis on natural resources, independence, curiosity and giving children opportunities to explore at their own pace.
Activities also include music and movement, arts and crafts, cooking, storytelling, Sing and Sign and plenty of outdoor learning.
Who we're looking for
You'll need a full and relevant Level 2 Early Years qualification or above.

You don't need to be looking for management immediately.
There are opportunities to progress, but equally this could be somewhere to establish yourself as a strong, experienced practitioner and enjoy doing the job well.
Salary
£26,666 to £28,288 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
Regular pay reviews are also available.
