A great nursery job should give you more than a room to work in. It should give you somewhere you actually want to stay.
Tiny Tots Recruitment is working with an established nursery in Wimbledon that is looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join its team.
The setting has a warm, home-from-home feel, a long-standing early years team and plenty of opportunities for children to explore both indoors and outside.
You’ll be joining a nursery where practitioners are encouraged to build strong relationships with their key children, contribute ideas and play an active part in creating an engaging environment rather than simply following a rigid routine.

The nursery also provides opportunities for children to enjoy activities such as Forest School, physical education and community outings, helping to make the working week more varied than simply spending every day inside the same playroom.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and understands how important those first few years are.
You should also have:
A good understanding of the EYFS Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities Confidence communicating with parents and colleagues A caring and reliable approach The ability to work effectively as part of a nursery team
Previous nursery experience is preferred, although the overall fit, qualification and approach to childcare are equally important.
Salary

Benefits
The wider benefits package includes:
33 days’ annual leave including bank holidays Christmas and New Year shutdown An additional wellbeing day Flexible working options Generous childcare discount Company pension with employer contributions Statutory sick pay from day one Life assurance Employee retail and lifestyle discounts 24-hour remote GP appointments Cashback towards dental treatment and physiotherapy Enhanced maternity, adoption and paternity benefits Paid compassionate and bereavement leave Employee referral rewards Ongoing in-house training Clear opportunities for career progression
The nursery is close to Wimbledon town centre and Wimbledon Station, making it well connected for candidates travelling from surrounding areas of South West London.
If you’re qualified in early years and want a nursery where you can continue developing without immediately having to move into management, this could be a very good next step.
Apply today and Tiny Tots Recruitment will contact you to discuss the role and nursery in more detail.
