Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join an established nursery in Plympton, Plymouth on a part-time basis.
The hours are particularly unusual for the sector:
Monday to Friday - 11am to 3pm
That makes this a really attractive opportunity for someone who wants to remain in early years while working shorter daytime hours.
You’ll be joining a purpose-built nursery with spacious playrooms, extensive outdoor provision and a long-standing team.
What you'll be doing
Your role will centre around providing high-quality care and learning opportunities for children during one of the busiest parts of the nursery day.
Responsibilities will include:
Supporting children’s learning and development through play Building positive relationships with children Helping maintain stimulating playroom environments Supporting effective key-person practice Working in line with the EYFS Encouraging independence, communication and confidence Supporting children through lunchtime and daily routines Providing parents and carers with professional feedback Working positively alongside the wider nursery team Maintaining strong safeguarding and welfare standards Helping ensure consistently high standards throughout the setting The nursery
The setting is located in Plympton’s Langage Business Park and has been purpose-built specifically for early years care.

What we're looking for
You’ll need a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
We’re looking for someone who:
Enjoys being actively involved with children Understands the EYFS Has good safeguarding knowledge Works positively as part of a team Communicates confidently with parents and carers Is reliable and professional Wants to maintain their early years career without necessarily working full-time hours Hours
Monday to Friday
11:00am to 3:00pm
This is approximately 20 hours per week.
Pay
£12.71 to £13.47 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
