Tiny Tots Recruitment is looking for an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join an established nursery in Boothstown, Worsley.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a confident Level 3 qualified practitioner who can lead by example, support colleagues and help maintain excellent standards across the room while still spending their day directly involved in children's learning and development.
You'll become an important point of support within the team, helping less experienced practitioners develop their confidence while working closely with room leadership and management.
Your role will include:
Leading by example and promoting high standards of early years practice Supporting the day-to-day organisation of the nursery room Helping colleagues plan engaging and purposeful learning opportunities Supporting and mentoring practitioners within the team Taking responsibility for a group of key children Using observations to identify children's interests, progress and appropriate next steps Ensuring the environment remains stimulating, organised and welcoming Building strong partnerships with parents and carers Supporting smooth transitions and consistent routines for children Helping ensure safeguarding procedures are understood and followed throughout the team Working alongside senior colleagues to maintain quality across care, learning and the EYFS Stepping up and providing additional leadership support when required
What we're looking for:
A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification, or above Good experience working within a nursery or early years setting Strong practical knowledge of the EYFS Confidence supporting and guiding other practitioners Excellent safeguarding knowledge A professional and approachable communication style Someone organised enough to manage additional responsibility without losing sight of the children A practitioner who is ready to progress beyond a standard Level 3 role
