Tiny Tots Recruitment is recruiting for a Third-In-Charge to join an established nursery in Raynes Park, South West London.
This is an ideal next move for an experienced Room Leader, Senior Practitioner or existing Third-In-Charge who wants to develop further into nursery management while still remaining connected to the children, team and day-to-day life of the setting.
Rather than simply giving you a senior title, the role will give you genuine involvement in how the nursery operates.
Where you’ll make an impact
You’ll work closely with the Nursery Manager and wider leadership team to maintain high standards across the setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery Supervising and supporting practitioners and room teams Helping deploy staff effectively across the setting Promoting consistently high standards of childcare and education Ensuring practice meets EYFS requirements Supporting effective key-person arrangements Coaching and developing less experienced team members Building professional relationships with parents and carers Helping maintain strong safeguarding practices Supporting the management team with standards, organisation and staff performance Stepping up to provide additional leadership when required
It’s a role with more influence, more responsibility and a clearer route towards Deputy Manager and Nursery Manager positions.
The nursery
The setting offers children plenty beyond the traditional nursery room.

The nursery has been rated Good by Ofsted and has an established team focused on providing children with a welcoming, engaging environment.
Who would suit this?
We’re particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have already started taking on leadership responsibilities within an early years setting.
You’ll need:
A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above Strong practical knowledge of the EYFS Previous experience within a day nursery or early years environment Experience supporting or leading other members of staff Good safeguarding knowledge Confidence dealing with parents and carers The ability to remain organised in a busy nursery A supportive but confident leadership style
You don’t necessarily need years of management experience.

Salary
£30,264 to £34,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Plus a £2,000 welcome bonus, subject to the employer’s terms and conditions.
